Thanks, Rick!

So, are spacers from Motorsport Tech the only 'quality' option?

So anyone could just call/email them and say "hey, I need 1.5" spacers for an H3" and they would make them?

Yes, they do alot of custom stuff, the ones on my Nissan are racing adapters made from Billet Aluminum.
You give them the specs and they will build them, the ones I ordered from them changed the lug pattern from 6 x 5.5 to 5 x 5.5

Yes, they may request a little more info but they should have all the vehicle specs on file.

They would need to be hub centric to wheel centric, 1.5" thick, 6x5.5 bolt pattern, 100mm hub bores, and M12x1.5 studs.

This is great for future rancho rigs. do rigs with these spacers sit further out then if they went with another 16/17in rim?

No, most likely less but it depends on the wheel. The factory wheel with a 1.5" spacer is going to stick out 1.5" and a 16x8/17x8 with 4.5" back spacing is going to stick out 1.84" and a 16x9/17x9 with a 4.5" back spacing is going to stick out 2.84"

I like the idea of spacers because a) you don't have to spend a grand on new wheels, and b) the OEM wheels are a pretty good looking wheel. Seems like a win/win to spend a quarter of the price to keep our perfectly good OEM wheels.
