I can't remember the numbers, its been so long since I have thought about that. I think the rear 5" or 6" of travel and the front is only like 3 or maybe 4" of travel. Its rather pathetic, but actually the H2 does quite well and is plenty stable with one wheel in the air, traction control or lockers will keep you moving. Ground clearance and break over angle has always been the biggest hangup (pun intended), getting high centered in rocks and mud. I beat the hell out of mine and have never been that concerned about the suspension travel, sure it would be nice to get more, but its always a balance between money, time, benefit, etc.. The shocks, bump stops and the front droop stops all limit travel, in fact if you get more than 4" of travel out of the front, you can get the half shafts at a pretty hard angle and and they tear themselves apart. Most of these images are pretty old and from when I was on basically stock setup, except for the 37" tires, but it shows about max travel on the suspension, full stuff and full droop.

Thanks big. Just so I make sure I'm not confused, your number are full travel, not up or down travel? I've been getting into more high speed stuff vs low crawling so I'm trying to figure out the h2's starting point and seeing what can be done to increase. Would love to get as much wheel travel as a raptor

Awesome thanks, only other thing I found was a 4wheeler article stating approximately 9" front and rear. Like I said my internet search ability sucks as you would think it would be easier to find numbers.

So if I could pick some brains again. My rims are pushed out approximately 1" from stock so overall my wheel travel would go up from stock like maybe 1/2", correct. If I got aftermarket uca, it might go up another 1". I assume cv's would be maxed out at this point so the only way to get more would be a whole new fabed long arm travel kit, which I don't think there are any kits for 2500 series. So with going with the first set of mods to eek out a little more travel 1"-1 1/2", what are your thoughts about reinforcing the front shock mount and converting to coil overs and ditching the torsion bars.

Hopefully my ramblings make sense and I appreciate any knowledge shared

Thanks for the link. Go big or go home[emoji3] guess I got a lot of studying to do. Another question if you guys don't mind, do coilovers provide that much better handling vs our torsion set up

Coilovers provide far better ability to adjust the ride and height to what you want it to be. I like Coilover and hate torsion bars.
