I know where Auburndale is, I drive all over this damn state. Me and my deuce have seen our fair share of this damn state. I just got a message today as a matter fact from one of my wheeling buds looking to put together a trip for the middle of December.
My girl is down in Tampa with the H2 and her high heels so she is definitely down for off-roading, so let me know if anythings in the area, and I'll send her your way, she is one tough cookie, so she's prepared and not afraid of much!
Best places to wheel your hummer, depends on the type of wheeling you want to do
Mild trail rides...
most of the state and national forest have some decent scenic trails. The ones I frequent are the following:
Ocala National Forest, north of the villages and east of ocala
Citrus Wildlife Management Area, near inverness
Withlacoochee State Forest, west of groveland on highway 50 heading towards I-75
More aggressive stuff, the best we have is Hardrock Offroad Park located off I-75 near exit 358.
Hardrock Cycle Park
6849 NW Gainesville Rd
Ocala, FL 34475
Here are a couple of videos from a quick search that span several years at hard rock in Ocala, you can search you tube or the forum to find plenty more. I think one of these videos has some shots from the Richloom Tract in the Withlacooche State Forest.
