H1 Winch Mounting Questions For My H1 Wagon?

Hey guys...
Instead of installing a good Warn H1 winch on my H1 Wagon, I decided to go with something I hope will work as good but not cost.
I went with a H1 Military version (I'm told) mount and a 12,000 BadLand Electric Winch 68142. It seems to fit OK on the mount.
My biggest question is.... Do I have everything I need to install this mechanically? I have all the electrical stuff.
Looking at the pictures below showing my brush guard, mounting plate, winch, do I need any extra brackets or parts? They said the winch mount bolts directly up with the Military H1 frame. So, looking at the pictures can you give me some idea what I will need to do? I'd like to get all the parts around before ripping the front off.

Hey Guys... I got the dang thing to work!

It took a little modification. Nothing too hard. The total mods were:
1. Slot the winch mount 3/8" to the left direction (looking at the back of the mount). The winch is 21" long and it hits the winch. Going to the left 3/8" gave me a good 1/4" gap from the twisted brace. The left side (Gear Handle side) has all kids of room.
2. Cut a small notch out of the curved ends of both inside brackets. See the picture below. Thats to get it in easier. Once in, the cut doesn't matter. You can try without cutting if you wish. You don't need such a big cut as the picture shows though. Just up an inch or two. It doesn't seem to hurt the strength of the bracket at all. At least the Mech Engineer said so.
3. The control box at the top hits the bottom of the grill bracket. I had to rotate it 90 degrees and hook one side of the box to the mount rail and tie the other side of the box down to the frame. It's kinda hard to see, but I think you can see in the pictures. It's real easy to plug in the control cord.
That's about it. It works great. It's easy to modify. It has plenty of room to get to the controls. I'll gladly help anyone that has questions.

Total cost was:
1. Winch $299 on sale. Now it's $399. Harbor Freight Bad Lands Winch 12,000 lb.
2. Mount on eBay was $150. It's a Military mount made for a Mile Marker hydraulic winch. It's plenty rugged and it fits the H1 civilian perfectly.

Total for me, $449!!! Don't think it is as good as a Warn or Mile Marker winch that's built for the H1, but at least it's another option.

Thanks guys. I'm really happy this worked.
Now I need to look into heavier springs for the front. I don't see any difference in the ride, but I understand it might be a good idea.
BTW, the license tag needs to be remounted. I ordered a plate that snaps on the fairlead. It looks like it will work, I hope that it bolts down somehow to keep it from being stolen or fall off.

Nice job crank. The MileMarker winch sits a little further back than the Warn does so your approach angle should be slightly better. Your springs will be fine for awhile. Front end might be a little bouncier but springs should stay in spec for awhile. It would be a good idea to upgrade the springs though.

Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure to get something a bit stronger once I find the right price. :)

The Warn sticks out from the front of the truck a coupe of more inches than the MileMarker. As you approach rocks/ledges it will make contact a little sooner than the MM.

Ok... Now that makes sense. I heard the statement "approach angle" but didn't really know what that meant. Thanks much!
