wipers shut down truck

2009 H2. Here's an interesting one; Got off the interstate Sun. and the windshield was dirty so I hit the washers and the truck shut off, so I coasted around the corner and turned the key and the truck just cranked but wouldn't start. So I turned it off then back on, started right up. Took off down the street and the wipers were halfway up so I cycled them to get them to the home position and truck shuts off again. Restarted and went home tried again but couldn't get it to shut off again. now the whole truck didn't die as the radio was still playing the engine just shut off. trying to figure that one out.

I have had my windshield wipers stop working and then start again then finally die. Replaced the motor and problem was solved but never caused the engine to shutdown. I wish I had an answer for you and will be interested in hearing the solution here.

I've been going through all the grounds which I suspect because it happened after i got off the interstate and a corroded ground that would create heat and more resistance the longer it was driven fouling up the computer signals.
