I'm *so* happy that my truck now can be driven safely without the fear of sudden failure of the serpentine belt. A big, big thanks to Matt & Dave, Neo, Mike and everyone who helped me install the new vacuum pump today.

Edit: I should add that the old vacuum pump had seized up on the way out from CA and the pulley was not turning at all. The belt was wearing really quickly as a result.

Question: Does anyone of the black sheep who's currently in Moab have a vacuum gauge? I found some good info on how to diagnose the vacuum system.

Glad you are back up and running Mikkel. Nothing like the Black Sheep crew wrenching. Just an amazing group. If you've never been. It is a must. Just to hang out with everyone. Miss you guys

Got home late this afternoon as I have a work commitment tomorrow that I couldn't escape. Another great trip with the Black Sheep. It was good seeing many of the regular crew and welcoming Highatop into the fold. Bummed that many other Black Sheep couldn't make this trip.

Yesterday was Hell's Revenge. I put all of my pics here: http://alrock.smugmug.com/Offroading2013/Hells-Revenge-100713 and you can download any that you want in full-res. There are about 200 there so if you're looking for a few good shots of your truck I probably got some.

Two tires were playing a game of poker. The rear tire said "I'll raise you." The front tire said "I fold.

Well I got good news on "the video". It did record and it was wide enough to capture everything. I have so many pictures and a handful of video's to post up still and will get to those this week. But I know a few people who were waiting for this in particular video, so it took priority. For those of you that couldn't run Moab Rim today, the cool part of this video happens around the 1:00 mark.

Also, this is shot in HD (1440p), just because I'm that sort of guy

Here's Neo's and Matt's H1s heading up Hell's Gate. I tried a couple of new perspectives for this video.

Nice video Alex.

Very interesting perspective.......Amazing how many times you see air between the tires and ground.

Love to see that synced up with the drivers perspective in a split window.

BTW: Who is that skinny ****er sporting about in Neo's trademark boonie hat and boots?

just got home from metal masher, we tried to run it all but found out after trying about 4 or 5 different lines that an H1 will not fit thru Mirror Gulch without taking some body damage, we may of gotten the 2-man thru, but no way a wagon or 4-man without busting out some windows, you might save the windows if the roof took the rock first. and another line would be thrashing the back of the body or midship...high-a-top and junior AKA not quite as high-a-top should have some pix. twice i had gotten to the point had i of fallen off the wall i would of gotten my roof or the area that would be rear doors, it was fun.

Well is there going to be a Pritchett run this trip?:corn:

since we got back early from metal masher we decided to prep all the trucks for a big day tomorrow, we just finished. Matt, Dave, Mike, and i are going for it, so 4 trucks one Rubi and three 1's we'll see what happens, hope to post up tomorrow night. the other two Steves will hopefully ride along and of course Laguna will and help all of us with spotting, stacking, and wrenching... beer time

****!! It's gonna be a long day! I went there in April with neo mike and Dwaine. First and easiest obstacle I barely made up.

Excited for the report.
