Great pics guys, looks like a great run.

Zach, I have to know, was it the pinion gear or the ring gear? What brand are your 4.88s? When I went to 4.56 a couple years ago the guy at 4WP told me that the 4.56 were a little stronger than the 4.88s, because the 4.88s have a weaker pinion gear since it gets smaller as you go deeper into the gear ratio. Not sure if thats really true, but he said for such a heavy vehicle he recommended I stay at 4.56. Seams contrary to the fact that there are lots of big heavy rigs running 4.88s with big tires and no issues.

Not sure whether it was the pinion or ring gear yet. Truck might be done today. When i pick it up I will find out and see if I can get some pictures of them. When I did the gear swap, I was torn between 4.56's and 4.88's. Gear shop said the 4.88's would be a better choice.

Truck is ready to go, picking it up later tonight. Covered under the warranty, no charge! Apparently, it killed the ring and pinion.
