OK well it's been 5 years I've owned my T so I guess it's about time to make a build thread so here goes! I pick up my 09 HUMMER H3T Base 3 days after I came home from my 14 month tour from Iraq February 09.
Going on we came back home on the 2nd week off February and 3 days letter I asked my wife to come with me to the HUMMER dealer with the baby, I told her that I just wanted to test drive it and had ZERO intention on buying a $36,000 truck and I just wanted to touch it and drive it.They had only one on the lot and I asked to take a look at it, they must of know I was a Soldier so as I was looking it the T they pulled out the keys and tossed it to me. She had only 3 miles and after the teat drive there was a little over 23 miles, I parked her next to my blazer and told the sells men"thank you and have a great day" and he looked at me ans said "wow wow there soldier anyway I can get you in this HUMMER, you look better in it then your blazer" you know the sells men pitch.
I know I couldn't make it happen but he did go out of his way to show me the T so I went with him to look at some number. The sticker price was $34,XXX and some change after tax and all that it would have been 38 or so but he pulled out the works for me and I mean the WORKS. Military, student, dealer, vet, GM owner discount and $30 flat out the door. Now I wasn't still 110% on the deal so I told him and just for a head up he had a Santa Clause look to him if he can make my baby son laugh and smile we had a deal, and what do know my son loved the guy!!!! I looked down and said "S^%*& we have a deal sir". To this day west I'll say the T is really my son's and I'm just taking care of it for him till he is old enough lol . First formation we had everyone couldn't believe I did get the H3T and I was still surprise I did
So now off to the PICTURES!!!!!
The main reason I have my T today.
Ready for a long night out working.
The front of our CP for 15 months in Baghdad.
The cross sabers famous spots in Iraq.
One of the first photos of my T.
Then the mod bug got a hold of me...
Now the bad set
So now it was time for 12 months in Afghanistan and that means new parts!!!
First major off road in NC
