so i'm assuming you are going for it? I just noticed you're from Ontario. Last December I was in Ontario/chino for training and I happened to go to Victoria gardens in rancho cucamunga to eat at lucilles and when I get to the stop sign there in front of lucilles coming from bass pro shop, I pulled up and stopped at the sign and at the stop signs directly to the left and the right were 2 other H3s with rancho lifts and 35s. I thought to my self, "damn!!! what are the odds of a rare vehicle like the H3 and then have all 3 on 35s meet up randomly in the middle of a busy outdoors mall" Just thought I'd share that story...

Yes I Decided To Go For It worst come to worst and I don't like it or it doesn't turn out as planned and makes me and my truck look like a POG DUSH...then I'll just spray the whole truck black or sand color...it's a win win situation either way...but I'm really positive this is gonna turn out Good...I'm gonna take my time and enjoy while doing it.

And that's neat I patron that store quite often...their bow section is quite nice and well staffed, but I yet have to see a Modded H3 all the one I seen are mall crawlers on 32-33 no sight of slightest dirt...however jeeps seems to patron that place quite often...seem some badass jeep there.

Alrighty well after hard hand sanding the driver side components...I'm excited to say I have finished Cammo'ing the drivers side (half at least) still have to do the doors handles and mirror...however I'll just have to wait to do the 4 doors and tail gate as well hood and roof due to time....this how panzer sits.

Well I'm finally done with both sides...and I'm pretty happy with the end result...tomorrow I should just be doing the rims...mirrors...and door handles and then no more chrome.....As Well Lesson Of The day "Do Not Place Your Working Tools on The Tire Thread, And Always Inspect All Tires And Path To Ensure Nothing Is In The Way"......I Got A Flat Tire While Moving The Truck To the Driveway Because any DumbA$$ left a screwdriver -____- Good thing The Tires are Ensured...

Can't wait to see it!! What kind of paint are you using? Prep work?

Just pliant Camo Paint Cans...as for the prep work...I just hand sanded all the pieces with a number 60 sand paper sheet for all bare plastics(lower grill and rock panel) clean it really good let it dry and then sprayed then with multipurpose primer sparky cans and let dry for couple of hours while sanding and priming all the other pieces...and a #80 sand paper sheet for the rest of the painted pieces (fenders grill) I just basically gave it a good in un-even scrubbing/sanded patterned scrubs to the clear shiny coat, so as it to leave a rough surface so the Camo paint has uneven rough surface and so it sticks better...nothing too fancy...I'm by far paint expert by my theory seem to work and I like the how everything turned out. this is what the sanded piece looked like after hand scribing then with the sand paper....

I just hit my 90k marker recently too. I got 50k with my truck, been from coast to coast and all over TN.
I actually like your camo you got going on!!! Can't wait to see the whole truck in that pattern. I'm debating on wether to change my black trim to tan or at least some more parts in tan.

Seriously that would be sick...as for paint nothing fancy man...just the regular camo spray paint can u can pick up at the auto store or Home.
As for the time frame I'm shooting to have it done either by this coming weekend or next depending on ho much time I have on hands I really want to finish this project already.

So far I use 10 cans or so, about $80 dollar on spray paint cans...I still have some cans left full...IM Sure with about the same amount of cans I got, you should be fine for spray painting the whole truck since you are only using one solid color...in my case I have to paint and paint over different layers and coats so takes a lot more paint that sort of goes to waste...in any case you could always just buy a bucket of Camo tan paint and use a spray gun, a lot cheaper and conbinient if you have one or if you can get your hands on one...either way cheaper than going to the painter's shop....they quoted me on about $1,000 for just the trucks body no plastics, rims, mirrors, handles.

Thinking on pulling the trigger on some custom plates this are some designs I got which one do you guys think it is more understandable and makes the message clear "Panzer" is the goal here but I can type it since it is not available I have to improvise.

I agree, the top one!! So how did I your truck end up with name die panzer?

Well after I bought it me, fam, and army friends that had rode with me...we all came to the conclusion that riding in the hummer it felt like riding in (a sort of tank) or the military 1151 armor vehicle (to a level of course)...big heavy doors small windows and just that powerful king of the street feeling u get from first driving the hummer...as well while deployed I got to ride an drive one of the Bundeswehr vehicles that remind me Of the H3
7y5e5e7e.jpg
so yupe different factor contribute in coming up with a suitable name for my H3...
