Got the track bar axle bracket almost done but now I have work. That was a bit of a bitch but not too bad. Just gotta put on the track bar frame mount then make the track bar cycle the suspension one last time then fully weld it all together and put the tires on the ground!!!

It's amazing how much you're progressing! I've got 28 fender to hub with the 40a. If you ever need me to crawl under my truck to get some measurements, just let me know.

How much up travel are you running? Also is your hub to fender on the aftermarket lip or the OEM lip? You have the E&G flare right?

I have 4" up front and 6" in the rear. I can adjust to get more but I like keep truck low and clear all frame and engine components in any worst case scenario. The flares are factory flares but they only add 1/4".

Yea, I am trying to stay low also. My goal is 27 hub to fender (about 4.5in of lift) getting it there is the easy part. Set it up to that height and call it good but getting the uptravel while low is tough. You know so cal. They have every type of terrain and I do like to get airborne from time to time and want about 4in of uptravel staying low.

man you are blazing though this project.

so, with 37" tires and a 4.5" lift, how much up-articulation are you going to get? what kind of articulation are you looking for? you moved the crossmember that the links are welded to back, is that correct? that should get you a few more inches, right?

I'll get pics after work!

I want mainly droop but I want uptravel also. I am planning on running 14in shocks I would like 9-10 down 4-5 up. I doubt it's possible but I also have to remember stock was like 2. Lol

The longer links won't give you more travel but will cut down on control arm angles (which aren't bad to start with on an h3 SAS) and will allow the suspension to work better and more linear.

I will be updating this thread a lot more when it's done. I took a ton of pics but haven't posted much because I literally wake up work on the SAS go to work come home work on the SAS fall asleep. It's a DD so I need minimal downtime. Once it's done I will upload all my pics and give tips and tricks along with some other things.

Wow. I bet you are NEIGHBOR OF THE YEAR around there! Nothing like air compressors, impacts, hammers, grinders, and cuss words coming from the driveway at 3am. Haha. I must say it would be hard to live next door and complain when every time I drive past your place, I see the transformation. Even a non-wheeling bystander can appreciate the drastic change and the speed at which its taking place. Still a long way to go but, its a major accomplishment to simply get it back on the ground and supporting itself.

Its easy to sit here on a keyboard and chat it up but, a solid axle H3 is not an easy task. There is no kit. There is no instruction manual. Its a huge undertaking and my hats off to you for going for it, and making it happen. I think all of us are as anxious to see it done...(even more so than your neighbors)!

p.s. Props to M&D for letting you take-over the driveway.
