Price Check on H3T Alpha

OK, have been shopping for an H3T Alpha for a few weeks. Ran across a low mile (38,000 miles), one owner Alpha model that's also got the off-road package, 18" wheels, new rubber, and loaded with leather, navigation, etc (not seeing anything it doesn't have...) Appears to have never left the pavement. Price is firm at $31,500. Is this a pretty reasonable price for what it appears to be, or a bit high and likely available out there for a better price to someone that is patient?

For a 38k mile H3T Alpha w/off road package, nav, and everything else (assuming stuff like rear seat entertainment), 18" wheels (probably some flashy things I wouldn't like but are expensive), 1-owner that is in mint condition I'd say $31.5k is very reasonable. It's a bit on the high side for an H3T Alpha, but it also sounds like it has everything to make it worth that price. What else is there to make a stock T worth more than this one? Even less miles? A better color combination (no clue what colors this one is)? Having the title and registration say 2010 instead of 2009? Owned by a famous person or being the actual H3T from the Avengers movie?

I found a 50k mile H3T alpha for $25k and I think it has the adventure pkg. 1 owner.

If you can travel to PA, and can live with the color, and 12k more miles.... go ahead and save $6,500

uh ohhh OP lives in Idaho... :( Not to close to PA...

You can always pay to have it professionally inspected.. buy it.. and have it shipped to your door for about $1k...

eta: Nevermind. It may cost up to $2k to ship to Idaho.. that sucks.

Where in ID are you located? I grew up in Moscow :) Love that state!

$31.5k is between private party and retail for that rig. Does it have sunroof? If it is in good condition I'd easily pay that. Low mileage offroad Alpha Ts are becoming scarce.

We live in Kendrick (about 30 miles east of Moscow) and spend a lot of time around Priest Lake. Idaho is pretty hard to beat for access to the outdoors. I'm noticing an absence of H3T's in the NW... Seem to be a lot in the south though.

That's a sweet T decent mileage, lockers, leather and all is I'd get it if I was in the market for an additional hummer.

Just bought a H3T Alpha last month after a long search. Low mileage (under 50K) Ts are getting rarer by the day. Alpha H3Ts with the Offroad pkg are the Holy Grail of H3s. If it's as-described, that truck is deal...especially if it's local. I've had several special interest vehicles but never had so many walk-up compliments as the T gets. I expect it will appreciate as a collectible if we keep the mileage down.

I think if your going to buy a T, you just have to realize it's going to be expensive. Way more expensive than a 5 year old truck should be, and way more than a normal H3. With that said, love mine, and while the payment hurts I found the exact truck I wanted.

Thanks for all the feedback -- was wanting a little sanity check on an area of "little knowledge" for me, and I got it. Closing the deal today.

Nice! We bought chickens in Kendrick many years ago (20 years?). North Idaho is amazing!

Congrats on making the deal, post pics when you take delivery! I had to buy mine out of CO and had my brother in law pick it up for me.

That's exactly what I'm doing... Waiting on the letter from GM stating it meets all US requirements before I bring it across the border.

I think you'll be alright, most of our vehicles are subject to Us standards then a few minor Canadian standards like Day Time Running Lights (headlights always on when the vehicle is moving)

Let me know what part of Canada you end up buying from (if it works out) I am now only 3 hours from the Montana border!

Vehicle specs out fine for the US -- already got word from GM, just need the paper in hand. Will be picking it up in Calgary when the dust settles.
