As of now it looks like I am leaving on Friday so I will get there a day early and leaving on Thursday.

I am very excited!!! Kinda nervous driving out 750 miles by myself but **** it!!

I have 3 weekends to get ready including this one and today I am going wheeling, taking it easy. lol I have a list of maintenance items, drag link ends are getting a little play in them, my steering has been AWFUL after last trip and I found out why...I came down off a rock and bent my ram for my ram assist steering. The ram steering is fighting the ram. I will get a new ordered, already built a skid for it so I cant hit it again  Other then that I have a few ideas for my trans, it works fine just runs hot. so I will track that down.

So whos running Pritchett :mock::corn:

TX crew is down for Pritchett. [emoji48]

I'd say bring an extra bag of jelly beans, but you said you'll be solo.

I work for Plexus, we do hardware development for telecom and healthcare/lifesciences. Mostly Engineering, those are the open positions that I'm aware of. Good luck

What usually goes on for meals? Not sure if I should bring all my cooking gear or are restaurants close enough and we're on our own? Any BBQ's at the Outpost?

Breakfast - on your own, though sometime some of the gang will gather at Denny's or similar. We usually meet at the Outpost about 9 am. Lunch is on the trail so pack a sandwich. Dinner - one night will likely be at the condo with Reloader and Jeri (Monday?) and she's got some pork, cheesy potatoes and we'll get salad together. Other nights - it all depends on how many people are around. Typically there might be a few different groups going to dinner at restaurants from Moab Diner to the Branding Iron to an all you can eat pizza restaurant. Milt's burgers and shakes takes up 2-3 meals.

In short, dinner is planned like the trails, meaning little is planned and people figure it out nightly. I can't recall if there's a grill at the Outpost.

As long as you're finished before I get there - go for it. Maybe 06 H3 will join you with his grease gun.

LOL. Dwaine is prepping for a big off-road race in India. He has to mod his Scorpion to make it comply with race rules, then ship it over. He is a busy boy right now.

What sort of things should I bring along aside from my truck and related maintenance stuff?

I can pick up some extra supplies or something for everyone, food or drinks, that sort of thing to help with the host/camp out folks. I was planning to bring a few extra camping chairs.

Truck wise, I'm keeping it simple, basically jacks, fluids, spare belts, toolset, and a set of half shafts/balljoint/idler pitman and that's about it, I used to bring more crap, but I never really broke down out in Moab so I feel like carrying around 1000 lbs of emergency stuff isn't really worth it.

Like anyone need something that you can only get in California? A certain type of brew/sauce or the like?

Any other activities planned? Eg. A range night or something like that?

My group got smaller, it's just Me coming up with the H1, maybe +1 rider. I may have my rider take my Jeep up in Which case my group will have a Jeep JK tagging along.

I'll let 3Hummers and others comment on H1 related stuff.

You can always PM Neo to see if he needs anything specific for the Outpost. I wasn't planning on a range day after the trail this time but there's no reason we can't put one together if others are interested.

We will likely have a dinner at the condo we're renting, maybe Monday night when the most people are in town.

i think we are looking good, newbies get a local beer to bring and everyone else bring what they feel like, paper plates, paper towels, toilet paper, plastic silverware... feel free to add anything we might need to this list...
