All I have left to do before heading out on Friday night is:
Perch adjustment, Light install..............get a windshield back in the Raptor. :gaah:

...I swear I have THE worst luck on windshields. You'd think if you installed windhsields for a living, you would make sure the new one is good before pulling a bad one out.
I guess a helmet with the shield down will have to work.

Damn Tim...Everytime you get a new vehicle you break a windshield almost immediately. My 06 is still on the original windshield, it is pitted really bad though lol

I've gone through four windshields on this truck. As for leaving for Moab? That'll be about one hour after they say my truck is ready, whenever that is. Still don't know the problem yet.

To everyone headed out to Moab have a safe trip and have fun for all of us that can't be there. Post lots of pics but none with Neo and Rick drinking beer and playing with their wood.:)

I'm booked at Super8 all week. :) Family arrives Thursday night, I'll be in Monday night. Power steering hose broke on me last night... fluid sprayed all over and lost power steering. Should be back in business today though. (It wasn't the new rack flex lines that broke, it was the pump to rack hose that broke...)

Good news/bad news on the transmission:
Shop said I probably inhaled too much transmission fluid as the transmission is fine - no slipping, torque converter is in awesome shape, fluid is fine. Bad news is there's probably a engine issue that is causing a loss of power between 4500 and 5500 RPM and is showing symptoms that are actually engine related, not trans related. P0014 code has been showing up and I've already replaced both camshaft position sensors. Head was replaced 14,000 miles ago. I'm wondering if they didn't do something properly when they did the head.

In short - I will be there late Friday night, after bedtime.

John, looking forward to seeing you next week.

Thanks, Looking forward to seeing everyone. Might be there in time for Sunday ride othewise I am meeting up with Summitup and driving last leg sunday. I got some final little things done to the truck and now just need to get through everything at work before I leave and them pack up. I am staying at a cabin at the Moab Valley campground on the north side of town.

see you all soon.

F5, what time are you shooting for to do a sunday run? Do you know yet what trail for Sunday?

Thanks

Polar Mesa. We will enter via Onion creek trail (off Hwy 128) and exit via Castle Valley road back to Hwy 128. (Was going to do the exit via the Lasal Loop road to Sand Flats road, however, can't do it with part of Lasal Loop Road closed.

We usually pull out around 8-9, so we can have a nice lunch; in this case up on the mesa with the overlook. I believe there are also some abandoned mines in the area to view (but watch out for the mining holes.

When are you arriving?

I could send you or Frank a map on how to access it. Do you know approx. what time on Sunday you will be arriving?

If I drive straight through I will get there by 8am then. If I carivan with Frank on Sunday we are leaving Denver area around 9ish so we won't be to Moab until into the afternoon. Save me a spot but if I do not show up you will not see me until later in the day Sunday.

Thanks

I didn't go back and read - do you have a check engine light?
