I cranked my tbars down a good bit after installing the rancho. Are your rear leafs installed already?

How close is that bolt? damn, you may need 2"+ spacers? It's still hard to tell how close the bolt and the tire are. maybe some 16" ProComp wheels and keep your spacers? like Reapers?

No rear leafs yet. Tim that was a crappy pic before work using a cell...I will use a real camera when I get home. How much space do I need there? 1/2?

I know there are plenty of people with 4.5" backspacing who have their tire .25" away from the knuckle and have had no problems that I'm aware of. I would think at 1.75 you would be safe

I don't think the bumpstops touching slightly is much of a problem, if any. Those OEM are progressive the way they are made. Stock they are only off the a-arm about 1/4 inch on the three l compared a few years back. I would just drive it when you get it together and see how they do. When you run out of UP on the lower a-arm it just lifts the vehicle. If you add that BA bumper and a winch you are going to change how it sits and rides some more.

So 1.75 may do the trick...will call the spacer place Monday. Gonna try and get the rear leaves started soon. Kinda wanna watch football too...lol

kind of PO'ed after tonight. Hoping to wrap up the lift kit and get it on the road but ran into some more problems...Hunner's leaf spring skids (weld on ones) are preventing me from getting the leaf spring in the front mount...I would of gotten out the damn grinder but I didnt seeing its 12:15 am. Working 12-5 tomorrow so at 5:30 sharp I am getting to work and getting any loud part out of the way. Another annoying thing is that the driver side bolt is in the way of the gas tank...what did u guys do? Drop the tank? I sure as hell hope I dont have to do that but will if necessary...

I had someone helping me for part of it, but I dont remember anything going wrong with that part of the install. theyre zip tied to my shocks now i believe.

yes the angle of the spring is different which is causing it to hit...

Update: off work in a few hours and will be meeting up with sierra H3 who is gonna stop by and see the lift. I had one leaf spring out and my brother just txted me saying he got the other one out. Im actually really really proud of him, he isn't mechanically inclined and he did it all on his own! Let's just hope he didn't screw anything up...

Holy crap my post count went down! Been very busy

Anyways squeaky has all 4 tires on the ground now!!!! I want to give a big thank you to SierraH3 who really saved me from leaving the H3 on jackstands for the next 5 days...The U-bolts were bent and were giving me trouble. I was going to order new ones with a 5 day wait but Greg had extras to spare. I really appreciate it! Anytime you or any H40er needs help let me know. This is what this place is all about. After 6 long days I got her done. I wouldn't say this install was easy but it wasn't difficult either. Time consuming is the word. A lot of other crap can extend the install which is frustrating. What killed me what the time wasted. 2 guys at work were fired so until school starts back up I have a lot of full time shifts instead of part time, I had done a lot of this install at night when tired and small lights arent cutting it.

So is squeaky drivable yet?? No...lol While its off the jackstands I still need to modify the crossbars and add the rear bumpstop blocks for the rear. Small little things are left to button everything up but getting her on the ground tonight was a huge relief, I really was getting discouraged but it after all the work it was worth it....crappy pic but heres a teaser...btw the 1.5in spacers arent in the rear yet, while do that tomorrow.

Congrats. What height are you at in the front? Looks pretty high
