Search the posts, I know there's a few related to switches. Off the top of my head Paladin & Alrock have post on their set ups

If you only have a couple of switches use the spare panels below the middle dash. If I had more, I would use my Daystar Dash panel & modify it to take extra switches.

Daystar TJ panel but if you need 5 switches I would get this on.

All you have to do is relocate one lighter jack.

I made my own panel over the coin tray in front of the shifter. I have the ARB lockers and compressor switches there.

See I don't have that coin tray in my truck and I thought that would be a good place. But at the same time I use both charge ports so the plugged in items might get in the way.

Someone on here had a 6 pack of (3top/ 3bottom) of switches with the ones from otrattw, and they were mounted by the right knee on that lower panel. I wanted to see that one again but can't remember who has it.

I want one above the rear view mirror. My concern is a switch being hit accidentally, especially if I drop something. I have my locker wired in so it can turn on in any transfer case gear. Keeping it up and away from wandering hands and the concern of dropping something would be my best advice. It will also allow you to keep your eyes on the trail while hitting your switches on/off. I even made a small box that I would wrap in the same fabric as the headliner its just mounting the damn thing. I want to keep it removable, I just havent come up with the final plan yet. I need to get on it though, I really need to clean up that rats nest of wires.

that would be such a nice setup, got me thinking how much harder it would be to put the buttons up there, it would just be running the wires up there instead going to the dash right?

Ideally the setup i would want is this. Have an aftermarket stereo thats halg the height of the oem, then have the switches mounted right below it.

You can get Single DIN ICE with touch screens that come out so you can have the best of both worlds as long as the screen sits far enough away from the switches. The only issue I have with switches with LED lights is the glare at night when they are on so be careful about that, if they are bright then locate them so they point down to reduce the glare.

I have five switched and started fabrication in a mount to put the switches right near the ssunroof switch. I have to pulk the headliner anyways to unclog the drivers sunroof drain. I am going to color match the headliner or the exterior color of the H3 desert orange.

"part # 88963885 and 88963884 one has an arrow pointing up (roof lights) one has an arrow pointing down (grill lights)"

I have been looking for those part numbers for quite some time. Just ordered one for my bull bar mounted KC lights. Thanks guys!
