Hey, I am new to the forum and thanks for the help on here.

I have a 2005 h2 hummer SUV with a pioneer avic z130bt head unit, 2 rear seat headrest dvds, a video bypass to watch when im driving and an xbox hooked up (through a 1000watt power inverter) to play when im driving lol THE passenger, And a 10 inch subwoofer hookup in the rear with 2 amps one for the speakers, one for the sub. I dont have the latest onstar PAC installed with it as the shop didnt have/use it. WHERE ThE HeyyyyLLL DID YOU GROUND YOU HEAD UNIT AND YOUR AMPS??????????????????????????? MY problem is that I cannot get this crazy stereo humming accelerator whine out of my unit. I had the ground changed and it is now located inside the H2 for both amps on a metal frame for the rear seats. The head unit i dunno?? It seemed to help slightly from the PreviouS door still ground, but after a few weeks I believe it is getting worse and worse. I need this noise eliminated and ASAP would be nice :) . I believe it is a grounding issue..... WHERE TO GROUND???

I am getting frustrated any help would be sincerely generous and cause me less headache with my process of eliminating the stereo alternator whine --- ONly when the engine is running...

this is only happening to me when the headlights are on. I dont believe i did the extra 12 v to the Head Unit when the lights are on.... Where did you connect that extra 12v from the bulb that lights the gear shifter??. View attachment 6475 DONt get them mud grapplers , I bought new tires to take em off lol they are way to loud

I spliced into one of the two bulbs that lights your shifter letters. I ran the exact same setup (same parts) in my H3 without that wire hooked up and never had an issue with static; only annoying that I had to manually switch to night mode.

ACtually I ordered from CANADASEATSKINS.com . took about 12 hours to install custom at my friend, Mikes Auto Upholstery. The original front 2 seats were difficult because the heating element is built into the seatskins. But I had the old seat heating element cut out of the seats leathers and installed with the new seat leathers. The back seats are simple. It probably ran me $2250 total. had to order extra thread and material with it, added some accents on the floor mats and the dvd headrests were taken apart and restiched. the result i got is great tho.

i hooked my Pioneer appradio2 into my Bose system and it really sounds awesome. i also bought the ARLiberator app for my android phone. The app puts my phone screen on the 7 inch appradio screen with all the touch screen apps and functions; email, Pandora, movies, texting, google maps/directions.
Pretty badass!
