Air bag readiness concern

Wondering if anyone else has had this happen? I sporadically have my air bag readiness warning light remain illuminated after startup. Its happened 3 or 4 times in the past 1-2 months. On the following startup it shuts off. Should I bring it to service even though it does not remain on all the time?

Only when my better half gets in the truck do I get that warning light -- kind of like a hummer mood ring, helps me plan the evening

ROFL hahaha

I noticed mine went off after wheeling once. I read I'm suppose to pull the fuse before wheeling? Do you have any items under the seats that could hit the sensor/plug?

H3 owners sometimes pull the side air bag fuse before wheeling. I don't think most pull the main airbag fuse.

The light remaining on is likely an indication of a problem. My airbag light used to come on during wheeling and was remedied by the dealer as a loose or bad connector. It has not come on since that repair except during startup and it does not linger. I don't think you have to rush it into the dealer but I would get it addressed under warranty if you can.

I don't think there is anything under my seats. I'll have to check it. Maybe a loose CD or two could've slid under there I guess.

Seeing its an 08 and still under warranty, I would take it into the dealer and have the issue resolved free of charge before the repair bill becomes your problem.
