H3 Aux input for base "no xm" radio

My 2006 has the base sound system with no xm. Is there a way to add an Aux input other than a fm transmitter? I currently have swapped in a Sony single din deck but I really like the look of the stock radio.

Unfortunately that will not work with my 2006. I do not have xm or the xm module.

I would just buy an aftermarket Double DIN size radio. I am putting in a Pionner with Bluetooth, USB and mp3 playback for $200 with all install parts from Crutchfield

I have a spare XM module, you would just need for the XM wires to be there. Also if you don't know yet you don't need a XM subscription for it to work.

Check an see if you have the wires, maybe you'll be in luck.

Ill check but I dont think I have the right plug on the back. When I press the "band" button there is no option for xm that comes up, not even a thing that flashes xm unavailable or "call to subscribe"

Ya nothing comes up if a XM module isn't installed.

Oh ok,thanks. What should I be looking for in regards to the XM wires? Am I looking for an empty plug or is it in the factory harness?
