Badlands ORP 6/14

Man what a beautiful day, clear skies and sunny, perfect day for wheeling. In total there were 5 rigs present, cgalpha08(me), 4 speedfunk, woodtick, skidrow, and digglesworth. To my pleasant surprise there were maybe 8 total other rigs at some time in the park and we only ran into a couple of jeeps once, seems like each time I go the number of rigs decreases (non hummers). There was no real carnage, just a couple of things that'll buff out. Woodtick almost had a nasty encounter with a tree, I got stuck a few times, but that's about it. All in all it was a fun day of trail riding.

We had a blast. So the truth is out,I'm a tree hugger. Oil is leaking out of my rear diff. I don't think it's going to buff out.

Lol, this is my first time messing around with my GoPro. I cut down the lengths of the video's I was able to take before my battery died on me. There's 4 of them here. PM me your email if you want and I can try and send you the full files as you clearly have someone who is way better at editing these than myself, lol. Have fun tomorrow.

Nothing screams sexy like overalls!

It was a great day...perfect temps, no humidity, very surprised we had the entire place to ourselves. We only saw a handful of other vehicles all day, unusual for this time of year. Here's a few pics my wife took, (still double-posting...can't figure out why)....

yea that spot has claimed more than one front h3 diff. he did it twice, since we didn't see it the first time and didn't belive him haha

I see my son finally sent you some pics. That one you posted up on that ledge is perfect. He does have some great video following cjalpha08. Who would have thought joining a web site a month ago would lead me to a great bunch of people that like to trail ride H3s. If any of you wonder about that sponsors truck THOR.com. His truck is the real deal and then some. He and his wife are the real deal,great people,I wouldn't hesitate sending my hard earned cash for a great product.

I've got this little place I've been going to up north,since 03. It's aprox 400 miles straight north of Chicago. It is only 950,000 acears of leagal fun. Got gas???

I put together two short vids. Unfortunately we got some spooge on the GoPro lens that went un-noticed for most of the day. We did not capture much hardcore stuff (battery was dead by then)...but, diggle's climb up the big ledge was truly a site to see. Its awesome to think you can pack a part-time trail rig full of family...gear...food...and drive 4 hours...wheel it at that level...and drive it back home.

Yep, still amazes me that i can do all that and then go cruise down the highway at 80, and be comfortable, and then drive to work this am haha. One of the many things i love about the H3. I think i need to invest in another go pro, so i can have a front and rear facing view.
