I have a Hummer H2 SUT 2007 50,000 kilometers, I have a problem with the battery consumption and acceleration when I give kick-down, if i do not start the car 2-3 days i,m running out of power, the battery is NEW! RED TOP OPTIMA, I tried unsuccessfully to track consumer, I disconnected OnStar , cdplayer aftermarket, the amplifier and subwoofer, i measured with the multimeter the consumption and is about 0.07 Amps / h (normal I would say) all to no avail, the consumer is clearly intermittent and i can,t find it is very stressful.
Another problem I have when suddenly accelerated, sometimes the car accelerates to full capacity sometimes not.

Any advice is welcome.
Thanks

You've had the same battery issues with two batteries? Sounds like an issue that you'll have to keep pulling out that multimeter and catch it when it's draining. However, as I think about it, I would start with the easy stuff - check the battery connections. Check for worn out battery cables. How's the alternator?

As for the acceleration, it could be a weak battery that causes that issue, and/or the electrical issue. A bad signal could be interfering with the accelerator and/or the throttle body.

If you have a big stereo, you may have worn our that alternator a bit early.

Is the battery new and you let it drain completely and then have to recharge it? Because I know those Optima and also Odyssey batteries, both need a special charger! Regular chargers don't work, and can even damage those batteries!

Make you a deal, you spot the plane tickets and I'll fly out and give her a look over. I've heard Romania is quite.....gothic this time of year. (somehow I have Scooby Doo in my head---Zoinks!)

Seriously, like Alrock said, I'd look at the alternator as your problem if you're not playing the stereo too much without the truck running, those amps will drain a battery in short order
