Black overspray on grill HELP!

While touching up my brushguard I got some overspray on the front grill. What is safe to use on the grill to get the paint off without actually damaging the grills finish?

I am not sure on how this will react to plastic chrome so let others chime in too. There are multiple methods, clay bar would probably be the safest or use A LITTLE bit of laquer thinner and that will pick it up I have seen someone do that on chrome and it worked but its risky because if you use to much you crack the plastic chrome. that would be bad.

I have used one of the sponges with the scrub pad on one side and Joy soap and it has done pretty well at taking off overspray, especially if it hasn't baked on for a month.

Never-Dull Chrome cleaner (Eagle 1) gets my overspray off of the "chrome" grill every time!

Just use regular car wax (not polish).
