something similar happened at a Denny's a few months back except it was the manager that refused to serve the LEOs.

It has been mentioned elsewhere on this site that BWW is indeed a victim-rich zone. Add to that the fact that their wings suck, and I see no need to spend money there. I can think of a half dozen places that have better to MUCH better wings, and in some cases better talent And they accept me, my money, AND my guns.

Are you sure its corporate policy? All it takes is one minimum wage flunky making a bad call and the whole chain has to deal with a PR headache.

Yes, they announced a few weeks ago that all their corporate owned locations were "gun free". I wrote them off at that point (I will miss their onion rings).

I believe there is a difference between CHL and someone who uses there weapon for a living... I know I have arrested plenty of people who work there and u think I'm going to u holster and disarm myself while on duty. Ha no sir!!!

Given the number of cops I've met that only touch their firearm for qualifications a handful of times a year I don't know that LEO are necessarily any more proficient in handling than CHL carriers (not to say individuals from either group don't swing one way or the other). Now, if you're there for official business then I agree you shouldn't disarm, but if you're there to eat then you should be treated like any other customer. Gun-free-zone and you're on duty? Don't eat there. Too many companies are all too comfortable making legal exceptions for cops that should be afforded to all of their customers equally whether it be carrying a firearm, buying "high capacity" magazines, or purchasing "full feature" firearms.

I don't disagree with that.. And ur right some only do qualify one or twice a year..

I look at it from the aspect as I have put a lot of nasty people in jail who recognize me on the street all the time.. I'm not worried about the protection of the public while off duty because let's face it.. It's very rare a robbery or something is goin to happen right in front of me.. But it is not rare to be confronted in a parking lot or while leaving a business or Walmart.. Trust me it happens... And the protection of my family is for most the most inportant thing... I train constantly and am proficient with all my tools of trade.. Just for this purpose And to disarm me is not right.. Like i said I won't go there not will I go anyware I can't protect my family...
