Good job on the reflective stickers--being seen is my number one priority. I crossed a busy intersection today with a motorcycle coming at me that was all black, including the whatever the rider was wearing. Luckily he was back a bit 'cause I only saw him when I was crossing his lane.
I see motorcycle stickers on cars stating to "watch for motorcycles", good campaign, but really---you need to work on making yourself seen as well. As for my riding gear, nothing matches with my bike, my helmet is white with blue and grey striping, my gloves are red and the bike is orange and black, but I'd like to think I'm kind of visible.
On that note, go onto Amazon and order a "Back-Off" flashing brake light module for about $40. You can get other makers of this little gadget but I trust the Back-Off when it comes to cutting into my brake light wiring. I won't ride another street bike without one, they actually work. The module has two different flash modes, I set mine up to flash the brake lights 5 times when I apply front or rear brake then it stays solid. I guarantee these get drivers attention and it actually does make cars "back off". I had a tailgater one day and I lightly squeezed the front brake and the guy backed down to about a block behind me. I've watched drivers at stop lights give a full car length space behind the bike. Buy one now--save your life.
And for God's sake, if they make a smaller brake light for your bike that you think looks cool--think again and leave the factory one alone if it's just not ugly. My bike came with a tiny aftermarket LED rear brake light that would scare me to even be on the road with. Luckily the seller included the factory KTM light which tucked nicely under the fender and looked great once I cut all that gangly license plate bracketry with those gay reflectors off and remounted my plate tight up under the brake light with a really nice black LED license plate mount.
