Camber adjustment issue

I went to Firestone today to get an alignment (lifetime -- great deal for anyone who doesn't have it), and the tech said he was unable to adjust the camber on the right side because the cams were frozen. I glanced at it, took him for his word and said I'd hit them with some PB Blaster and bring it back. In looking at it, although I suppose it's theoretically possible that those cams are frozen, it seems unlikely. I'd say it more probable that the UCA is frozen in the mount. Honestly though, I really have no idea. If anyone has any input, I'd be glad to hear it. It was aligned in June without issue, so it's not like the bolts have been on their through a half dozen rustbelt winters. I can't imagine rust really being an issue. Camber is off quite a bit so I would rather fix it sooner than later as KM2s are not cheap. Thanks in advance

I went through this very thing. I replaced both the camber bolts but in doing so had to heat up them up and replaced the A arms from the bushings melted.

Yeah, heat won't work unless you want to replace the bushings. So what was actually the problem on yours? Were the cams actually seized to the mounts as the Firestone dude suggested?

As a follow up to my own post in case anyone else is ever in this position, here is what I found and how I fixed it. Basically everything was frozen. The cams were frozen to the adjustment pins. The bushings were frozen to the frame, and the camber bolt was frozen inside the bushing. PB Blaster eventually got the cams loosened from the frame, but I pulled out two pins in the process. Unfortunately, there is really no way to get a penetrant on the bolt, so I had to get a cutoff wheel in there and cut the bolts. To get everything back together, you'll need the camber bolts (GM P/N 11588463 for LHD). If you screw up the pins like me, you'll need AC Delco P/N 45K26008. This is for a pack of 12, but if you're lucky you can find them individually. After all that, I found the upper ball joint was toast, so definitely check that while things are apart. It was hard to tell with everything assembled, but was clearly junk once disconnected from the knuckle. Hope this helps someone out in the future.
