New to this.. Ohio trying to solve a clunking noise in my 2006 h3 hummer upon acceleration only. A clunk clunk clunk clunk than quits as get rolling. I think it's the cross bar for front diff bushing. Anyone else had this problem

Many of us have had this front end clunk. Most common problem is a worn out front diff crossmember bushing. One of our forum sponsors, Preferred Chassis Fabrication, has the front diff crossmembers with new bushings that are better made and cheaper than an OEM replacement crossmember.

I have also had the driver's side differential mount on the front diff clunk. Might want to look at that as well.
