Yes sir. Not sure yet if I will use as I have an external. As far as a step by step, I will take photos but from what I can we it's truly a drop in unit. The craftsmanship is superb. I might hook the trans lines back up at a later point.

I see walkthroughs on the forum for I5 radiator swap, but although it's noted the fan has to come off the V8 what is required to do so.

Looks great! If you don't mind, what does this setup run? And who did you order from?

FYI. If you're shopping around looking for this radiator by CSF they do make a single row version that is cheaper. around the $400-$450 mark. Make sure that there's a clear description that its the two row or dual core radiator.

I wonder if the internal trans cooler with a aluminum radiator will keep trans temps lower than a external cooler. This is on my mod list and I am tempted to toss the external trans cooler. I am also running a Efan and cant keep temp below 3/4.

Is the internal trans cooler aluminum as well?

removing the fan on the V8 is not necessary, but might make it easier. It was definitely a tight squeeze when I did my swap.

You beat me to it! Definitely check the description, the larger core is the one you want if having overheating issues.

Done! All I can say is WOW!!! Took me under 2 hours. Truly a drop in unit. The only issue I had is that I dropped a bolt in the bucket with the anti-freeze in it LOL

The temps shown, sitting idle for almost 10mins with AC on!!!

It hovers around 202-203 when driving.

Supper happy.
