Center Dash Vents

My center dash vent (the right hand one)..Broke and will not turn the vanes left or right, only the center vane moves with the left-right wheel thingy..a little plastic tit broke off the center vane and it is not engaged with the other companion vanes...

So I'm trying to find on-line somewhere to get a new one…the whole vent assy just snaps off the back of the center console...so it must be replaceable.

Any help finding a source is appreciated...thanks.

BTW..I do realize of course, the dealer would be an option, if nothing else.

Dennis, :)
The GM OEM part numbers for the center outlet vents are:

R side: 25816725
L side: 25816724

Cheapest on-line price for a new one that I could find is around $45 (+ shipping costs). Hope that helps.

The genuine GM part Vent Assy arrived about 2 weeks ago..Have been waiting for the outside temps to drop below a million degrees before I replaced the the broken one..Which I did today..1-2-3..and I was done in 3 minutes..Simple!...Not bragging, just pleased at how easy it was to change out..

that is all..

Oh hell, you could have got by with some old shoebox cardboard and some duct tape.

No need to rush the repair.

Won't drop below 95 till late November.

Glad you got it fixed.

Based on some of your past posts and how picky you are about that truck, I can only imagine how bad that **** bothered you.

You were worried about changing a vent in summer heat? I changed out two sensors in the engine block last week, it was 115 out and the engine was still burning hot.

Oh way, I think that means you're smarter than me :whaa:
