door panel switches

securedownload.jpg has anyone else had this problem with the switches just breaking off? i dont even use the back window switch and they just broke by closing the door! i dont slam the door either! of course it happened right after the warranty was up.:gaah:

The trim around the drivers door switch broke on mine. There is an ebay seller who has these switches for cheap.

are they the same or better? i think i would like to buy stronger ones if possible so this doesnt happen again.

I notice that the backlight on the two switches for the rear windows and the lock/unlock button cuts out on mine intermittently. Switches work fine, just the lights, and they kick back on when I push or pull up on them real quick.

my lights work good, maybe its just a bad switch panel, its just weird how they starting breaking for now reason. everything else on the 3 has been great with no probs so gonna see if i can find one off a junked out 3.

That's funny! My drivers switches were half out for awhile, sometimes if I hit it they would come back on. Now they have back on for awhile now. Similar issue with the A/C controls.
