drivers window & door lock problem

drove the 3 earlier today and the drivers window won't roll down and the lock/unlock switch is also dead , all other windows are fine from the drivers controls ... I looked around online and HF has a 4 page thread on this so its not the first time :wink:

i have the battery unhooked right now , gonna give it 15 minutes to reset and see what happens .

Is it the stock battery?
Same thing happened to me. Drivers door would not lock, no windows, and keyless lock would not engage the locks.
I noticed when this happened the hummer would be sluggish at starting, like the battery did not have a full charge.
I would put the battery charger on overnight and the next day the locks would work.
A few days later it would happen again. This happened about 4 times. I had the stock battery, with 100,000 miles.
I bought a new battery and no problems since.

yes , original battery and we got the truck in mid 05 . no problem with locks since but the battery is dead now , Darla just called around and we are picking up a battery today . seems ours lasted a little over two weeks from the first sign of battery issues ( dr. side locks freakin out ) to when the battery finally died ...
