H3 Dual Exhaust for 09 3.7L H3 that has UCP

I heard that OEM dual exhaust cannot be installed with UCP.

Can anyone tell me which dual exhaust is the best for my H3?

Dose dual exhaust upgrade the performance?

That doesn't really make sense since the UCP is below the crossmembers. Where did you hear that?

As for "best" it all depends on what you are seeking. There generally isn't a performance increase since the biggest restrictions are cat-forward and are not removed by a cat-back exhaust. Many people choose based on sound quality.

Not sure why they say without UCP but H3-ING installed a GM Performance cat back exhaust with his UCP on his Alpha.

Same here. Most cat-back setups bolt on just behind the rear cross member.

actually, you can see the part's description.. I saw it on hummer accessories website.

I like my MagnaFlow Cat back.

I'd be willing to bet a 12 pack that UCP does not in any way affect any CAT back system, including the Alphas. The rear cat is above the cross member, the pipe itself is further back and even higher than the rear CAT? This is the rear CAT 2008 Alpha. Way above the cross member.

OH yeah, forgot. There is no "dual exhaust" for an I5, although there is a faux dual exit exhaust. :wink:
