Engine knock sensors.

Hello all and Happy Thanksgiving.

I have the engine knock sensor code on my H3 Alpha. Recently I was looking for the location but had no luck. Can anyone confirm exactly where it is located? I have done some research and I’m getting the feeling they are located under the intake manifold. Has anyone here done this job and how difficult is it?

I think the gen 4 LS knock sensors are on the side of the block below the exhaust manifolds. Gen 3 are under the intake manifold and are a PITA to replace.
