Ok, so I don't blame you if you want to give me sh*t for this, but... I bought some new wheels on CL. These wheels were really popular when I first started getting into cars, and I've always wanted a set. I know they're not really in vogue right now (which is probably how I got such a good deal) but I always knew I'd get a set eventually. I guess its the same kinda thing as curb feelers or fuzzy dice. They kind of have a nostalgic value to me.

These bad boys should be arriving in just a few more days. Had 'em shipped up from Florida. Even with shipping, they only cost about 4 tanks of gas. :woot: They're in pretty slick shape too. Can't wait to take them for a spin! (Pun slightly intended.)

And before you go too crazy...I still plan on keeping my OEM wheels/tires for wheeling.

So...whaddya think? :emb:

Were this not April fool’s day..........

I would have already banned your ass for life...............and started amovement to have you excommunicated from the brotherhood/sisterhood of HUMMERowners.

The lifted low rider look -- i kind of like it, and the kids could use the slant back as a sliding board at the pool!
