We decided at about 2 a.m. on Friday night after a few (ok, lots of) drinks to hit Marble Falls yesterday with the goal of hitting some of the more difficult trails in the park. We started with Bronco Buster (4), then hit Wet 'n Wild (5), then did Sliver (3) from the opposite direction that most people take it (made it a little harder) and finished up splashing around a little in a smaller mud pit out there. We also made friends with a jeeper that had never taken his rig off road. He joined the convoy and had a smile on his face the whole day bigger than a kid in Willie Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Nothing broke, Frumaker and I put our UCP and sliders to the test quite a bit and came out unscathed. A great trip and a great scouting run of more difficult trails for future runs. I don't recall any of us taking a single bypass all day. Most of what we did yesterday would be impossible for the H1s - trails are too narrow. In a bunch of spots, I was at about a 30% lean to one side or the other and one could reach right out the window and touch the side of a creek bed.

Hidden Falls Trail Rating Description:

Our level 1 & 2 trails are rated for stock to slightly modified 4x4 vehicles. Our level 3 trails are rated for
4x4 modified vehicles with at least 33" tires and at least one set of lockers with stock transfer case. If
you do not meet these requirements you are not allowed on level 3 trails.

Our level 4,5 & 6 trails are rated for extremely modified vehicles which includes full lockers on front &
rear, 35"+ tires, winch and low transfer case gearing. If you do not meet these requirements you are
not permitted on level 4,5, & 6 trails. We rate our trails based on the most difficult obstacle on the trail.
A level 5 trail may only have one level 5 obstacle. We have tried to provide a bypass to go around
level 4-5 obstacles.

Looks like a fun day. Hard to tell in pictures but those trails didn't look any tighter than some of the Bridgeport trails we were on.

And I was not even invited for the Beer much less the trails. I also agree with Dave. You would be surprised what we can get through. We will see next time.

I'm all for you guys trying ... the jeep ripped fiberglass off of the roof on a tree, Steve took out a few trees with his roof rack as well as plowing through a tree with his brush guard. Most of it would be fine, but a few tight spots on each trail could lead to a LOT of backing up.

Steve's wife, Bonnie took the pictures, she got lots of good ones ... I batch uploaded them all to Flickr. I'd go back and remove that one now that I realize it was in there, but it appears that wouldn't help to remove it from the interwebs as it's already been re-posted. :giggle:

If you delete it from your hosting site, it will disappear here as well...............I just hot linked it.

Sorry man, I just find all that **** that accidently shows up in photos extremely funny.

Example: One of our VP's at work was e-mailing pics of herself with her prized ****-zus.

Nice picture except for the fact that the two males were sporting very prominent "Red Rockets".

Bwaaaaaaaaaa ! ! !

I can't even see the pictures:gaah:!!!! Damn durka durka internet, you guys think the T would of made it?

The T could make it if it had 35" tires. I struggled some because I don't have 35" tires. Your longer wheelbase would cause some problems too

I removed it yesterday - but if your browser has cached the image already, it may keep rendering it until the cache is cleared. For those whose browsers cache web content, it's a gift that keeps on giving!
