It might be my computer or IE but how do we do this? I remember seeing that option before (could have been the old site) but now I don't.

If I recall correctly - go to Add Modification, then click on "Not Listed?" and put in your requested manufacturer if that manufacturer is not listed. You'll have to wait for approval before you can add the item. Annoying, I know :huh:. But if your Mfr. is already there you only need to submit a new item.

You can do either route to add items - here or in the Garage, but for one or two items going through the Garage might be faster as other moderators can also approve them and you aren't waiting on me.

While I'm in my bad mood pissed off at yet another dealer I'm still not seeing an option to add a manufacturer or item & I know the Garage is an unsupported add on but need at least 1 other person to confirm it or you guys are gonna be reading about another crazy nut job going off the deep end, the Captain isn't helping any more

No going off the deep end for you. Let me see if I can help.

1) Select your vehicle and choose "Add Modification" from the drop down list

2) Click on "Not Listed" to get a pop up window to add a manufacturer. If your pop-ups are being blocked, you may need to temporarily disable that blocker.

I think we'll just open up the Garage where users can add their manufacturers and products w/o moderator approval. We do ask that you look for existing manufacturers and products before adding your own. We reserve the right to edit these items as necessary.

I like the idea of adding your mods then having some sort of approval, but I understand that takes time and can be a big burden on someone. Hopefully we don't start having the same mod added 12 different times just spelled differently.

Being able to add our own mods is great. It will probably lead to many smaller mods being added which can give others good ideas.
