getting DTC code P0741

Hi Guys,

I need some help I'm getting this code on my rig and after some research and input from fellow Hummer owners I see that it's due to one of the TCC Solenoids located above the tranny oil pan.

The question I have is for anyone that has fixed this item, where did you get the Solenoids from?

I found the shift Solenoid (1) on Amazon but I can't find the off/on Solenoid Harness (2) for a 2009 4160E and there are a lot of choices coming up in my google search but I want to make sure I don't get a crap part.

I order most of what I consider "internal" parts from RockAuto. Number 1 in your picture is the TCC PWM solenoid. Number 2 is the actual TCC solenoid. RockAuto has both in stock including the harness. I've actually ordered a TCC solenoid and a pair of crankshaft position sensors (for another vehicle) from them.

Well I changed the on solenoid marked #2 and it worked for a few days, now the lights back on same code, I'm going to change out number #1 now and see how it goes. My friend whose a GM certified tech for the past 15 years said most likely the valve body needs to be rebuilt, there's a ball inside the valve body that pushes up against an aluminum port that holds pressure and it wears down and leaks and can cause this!
