Well. My 2006 Hummer H3 I’ve driven daily for 11 years has met its demise. A college student decide to attempt and illegal u-turn directly in front of me, apparently completely unaware I was 20 yards behind her and there was no option even with slamming in the brakes to not t-bone them as they blocked my line completely sideways as they attempted to turn around.
I knew as soon as my airbag deployed that it would be considered totaled for insurance purposes. Insurance gave me $9,600 for it.
This website has been a wealth of knowledge and helped me do all my own wrenching. From oil changes to changing things like the water pump, sensors, the sunroof leak fix, etc. I’d like to thank all the contributors who have posted “how to’s” and updates on fixes and ideas to keep these things running. Keep doing what your doing! As I still see plenty of these on the road, and as they go beyond 20+ years of age the info here will be more and more valuable to people.
