Got new tires today

Just picked up some 33 inch bf Goodrich rugged trail tires from craigslist. Paid 400 for all 4 tires. They only had 2,000 miles on them. Will post pictures soon. I have one question though. How much will it throw off the speedometer? I used to have the stock 265s.

At the most 5MPH so anything above 60MPH just go 5MPH less and you'll be fine.

If you have a GPS, you can note your actual speed against the speedometer at a few speeds. Do it where you can hold steady speed for mile or two with cruise control.

If I recall it's about a 5% variation from 32 to 33. Don't forget that it throws off the odometer too, which affects mpg calculations. Knowing the percentage difference helps get more accurate numbers

Good looking truck! Check the revs per mile for your old and new tire and you can start from there to see how much ypur speedo is off!

Haha I feel ya. I know I might get some hate for this but I like the chrome as long as it's not overdone. I am hoping to get a black brush guard in the future. And my wife won't let me take of the nerfs.
