Veterans who planned months in advance to visit memorials and musuems were met with Gates blocking entrance to the WWII Memorial in Washington D.C.

The veterans didn't let that stop them. they moved them and visited the memorial to pay tribute.

Amazing that in a government shutdown some moron spent the money to have barricades set up and security guards in place to prevent the veterans from visiting their memorial. I bet if it had been a memorial for Islamist jihaddists the sidewalk would have been covered in flower petals and virgins. You can't keep the greatest generation down. Those guys will be fighting all the way into the casket.

I read somewhere today that the WWII monument had more guards around it today to keep out our veterans than Ambassador Stevens had protecting him in Benghazi. If true that is a perfect indication of the incompetence of the fool in the White House.
