Before I got rid of my Hummer I swapped out my exploded Bilsteins for some KYB .... I regretted it the first day. The Bilsteins are superior in every way! comfort and functionality

Which KYB shocks did you install, and were the KYBs too stiff or too soft?

I cant recall which ones but they claimed they were the direct match to the bilstein's I had ... The were extremely stiff

I have Bilsteins on my H2, and to me they drive way better than Monroe (opinions differ, though). I like not only the way they drive, but also quality - I've had them for 4 years or so. Recently I noticed weird noise coming from my suspension, and already thought that one of my shocks is no good. But it appeared rusty mounting. So I went ahead and ordered new shock mounts (https://www.carid.com/shock-mounts/) and that weird vibration disappeared. I feel, that driving with those corroded mounts could have spoiled my shocks though... Now the ride became worse.
