I called and the reason it is so cheap is because as shown in the picture, the lock is missing. So now my question for those of you that have these, could I get one of these locks from say Lowes or Tractor Supply ? Another question is what all is needed to install this on my H3 ? As shown in the picture there are screws in the holes so is that all that is needed to install it or is there other parts that are needed ? I asked the guy I spoke to when I called and he was very helpful. He said it is a Defender Works item if that helps any, thanks in advance

You should be able to find a lock that works at Lowe's or Home Depot. You might have to make some adjustment to the locking lever for it to fit right. I have done it several times on locking gas lid doors for the H1s. Not sure on the install on the 3 as I haven't done it yet on that truck.

Thanks 3Hummers, I did a little more research after I posted my questions and I think I found my answer about installing lol, looks like you just drill four holes through the backside of the fuel bucket then use four screws to attach the door from the backside. As you prolly know the visible screws on the front are just dumbie screws for looks lol. I went ahead and purchased the door and eventhough they charged $16 to ship it, I figure $74 is still a great price and I can't imagine the lock will be too much. Thanks again for your reply

Awesome find and a great deal! One suggestion though, try defenderworx to see if they can send you the missing parts. I bought the same fuel door awhile back and was missing some parts like the screws and mounting template, I contacted them and they sent them to me for free. I'm not saying they will send you a new lock and keys free but they do have excellent customer service and it may be worth a try... even if they charge you a few bucks...

The lock and keys at Home Depot are about $8.00. If DW will send you one that is great. If they won't don't sweat it. I had to ground down the thickness of the locking bar a little to make it work but it took about 2 minutes to do it.

The fuel door came in so I emailed Defenderworx and they are going to sell me a lock, keys, and mounting hardware for $15 shipped, so I'll have a total of $89 in the setup. $110 less then buying one elsewhere, thanks again for the heads up
