Black powdercoat is the clear winner! Placing the order tomorrow.

Also ordering some electrical connectors to supply, which will allow the LED lights to plug into the factory foglight harness.

I may have missed it, was there a price on these? I'm pretty interested in two sets.

Ok guys, thanks for all of the interest!

Was hoping to have the parts in hand on Friday, but it's going to be Monday or Tuesday. I'm also in communication with the manufacturer of those LED lights to get a bulk order placed. That, however, will take a while due to shipping alone.

So, with that said... I do have a price just for the brackets/wiring connectors. That would require you to purchase your own set of lights. You would be receiving the bracket set (left & right) and the wiring connector that installs to the end of your LED light pigtail and allows it plug right up to the OEM foglight harness.

The price for that kit is $125 shipped (lower 48).

My first order of brackets was for 25 sets, as I wasn't sure how much interest there would really be and I didn't want to be sitting on a bunch of these things.

I'll update the first post to reflect the pricing info. Anyone that wants a set, post up and I will add your name to the list.

Thanks guys!

Wow. I missed this thread for some reason. This is a great and simple idea. I have a question on the lights you used in the pics. Did you use the flood or the spot version? I ask because when I turn on my factory fog lights, they illuminate all the way to the side of the truck. The ones in the pic seem to concentrate in the middle. Even the headlights seem to have a wider pattern. I would be very interested in this if there was a wider light pattern version.

The lights that I used on my rig are the Spot pattern. Keep in mind that my camera phone really accentuates the foreground lighting. It's really hard to capture what they look like in "real life", BUT if you are looking for the widest beam pattern, I'd definitely go with the Flood beam lights.

The headlights that I am using do have a much wider beam pattern than the factory halogen lights, just FYI. Honestly, my rig probably isn't the best to be comparing these to... Hopefully someone that buys this setup can take some good pics to compare against their halogen headlights!

Hope that helps some!
