Has anyone replaced the steering wheel with something else? Was looking at maybe the Colorado wheel and try to implement the "steering wheel controls" into my pioneer radio? Any suggestions?

I am sure you would need the entire steering column to get the clock spring assembly and passageway for the harness.

Personally, I really like the factory wheel. It feels appropriate for the vehicle.

I like the look of the Silverado option, but I think they have the connectors in the column already to hook up to.... they just need to add the bits... I could be wrong but I think we would need an additional harness to go from the wheel and down the column

That cruchfield option would drive me nuts! It looks so cheesy

Couldn't agree more. It was one of the first things I noticed when I hopped in for a test drive. As someone with bigger hands, the large diameter is quite comfortable and feels like you're driving something of substance.

i don't like aftermarket stuff either. Those silverado switches seem like they would be a nightmare to wire up since we don't have the harness already there, though. If someone else took on that project and did a good write up then I would be happy.
