Thanks for the pics.

You should be able to tell if it has been off road by looking for scratches underneath. If no scratches don't worry about it. It is unusual to lose a transfer case and a half shaft without some off road use/abuse.

I've had many dogs over the years including a rescue Dobie. Had to return the Dobie because she couldn't get along with my other dog. The last straw was a full blown fight in the babies nursery. Eventually I got Great Pyrenees and I've had 8. My last two died of cancer and old age three years ago. I swore I never get another dog unless it was a Great Pyrenees, but apparently my wife never took that oath!

I am glad to that it was still under warranty. Saw the warranty claim at the dealership how much it was.....like I said glad it was still under warranty. Remember, its all still original. I haven't done anything to it yet. Thank you....she is a wonderful, spoiled dobe. I appreciate the help. Thank you.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. The Great Pyrenees are beautiful dogs. I had 2 Rotties before the Dobe, unfortunately I had to put them down due to one had bone cancer and the other one had diabetes with tumors all over her. Thats ashame about the dobe...they really are great loyal dogs. I wonder if it was abused before you received him or her? I have been asking to get a playmate for our dobe so she wouldnt be bored all day. She loves other dogs.....but I keep on getting shut down. Keep on telling the other half that there are so many dogs that need a loving home and we have that to offer, but I just cant convince him.....LOL
