We'll that one shot looks awesome. We went out at night too...prob shouldn't have we we're all gone by around 8. When we all get together we just can't slow down and before you know it we're beyond wasted.

I don't allow alcohol of any kind in my vehicle for night wheeling. I need too much concentration wheeling at night to put up with drunk passengers and I'm sure as hell not doing it driving my truck drunk at night. Have to be careful about that ... I watched a 4-door Range Rover almost roll all of the way from the top to the bottom of a 30+ foot steep hill Saturday night. Had he actually rolled and been in need of medical attention, I can't imagine anything worse than the 'rescue team' being wasted.

Very very true. We stayed on park roads the whole time but even then it was pretty distracting. There was no way in hell I was goin on any type of trails.

I'm already looking at my calendar to see what looks good after April. I have a feeling someone will post up something very soon about May 2nd ... my crystal ball is showing a blurry K2. We'll see if I'm right.

Yeah one time I went night wheeling and got mixed up with rock crawlers and my cv boot broke and the crawlers were drunk it sure wasn't fun and it took a long long time to recover me and while I was being recovered I was being ridiculed and lots of crap was being thrown in my direction. Even though I'm not the age to drink I personally am not ok with mixing any amount of alcohol with any type of driving on or off the road

Not sure how the rangers are over in Texas but A whole group of buddies and I were stopped and checked to see if he had alcohol in our system. We didn't so we finished enjoying our night. Drink after you put the keys away

Another wheeling/camping trip I didn't make due to work but a in our group someone invited some of their friends I don't know and they took off drifting and racing around after drinking and he caught something and rolled 2 1/2 times and the kid was bleeding from his ears. He's lucky he's not dead and the rangers showed up gave him a DUI took him away put him in the nearest jail for the night and impounded his truck.

Just putting it out there so everyone knows you can still get in trouble for drinking and driving off road

Hidden Falls is a privately owned ranch. No ORV stickers, no cops/rangers but the owners do come out to check on complaints when called in. I know, I got stopped for "speeding".

They are very, very strict about speeding (ask Fru ... he seems to get picked on every time we're out there - he gets Raptor profiled. :giggle. The rules say no alcohol, but I see people openly drinking on trails every time I'm out there. I believe what we're all agreeing upon here is wheeling can be really dangerous. Have fun, but do it responsibly!
