Hi all, bought my H3 in '06 brand new in Pasadena. Love 4x4'ing it, been reliable so far. Only issues were the fan blower resister/harness, and a radiator replacement when it started leaking. Will probably hang onto this vehicle forever :)

Welcome to H4O from Orange County. Where in the High Desert are you? We do lots of runs in Big Bear and the Mojave Desert.

poncho, welcome to the forum - gald to have you here. You have a great goup of forum members there in CA. Hopefully, you bwill be able to join them on their next trail ride.

BTW, we have a certain other forum member that bought your rig's younger brother (it's an '07 blue thing like yours! :)) Just kidding, besides black, that is actually my second favorite H3 color. Nice rig!

Thank you! I was at work on GY shift Christmas night 2005 and the guys were talking 4x4. I didn't have one at the time, so got on the internet and found this one at Pasadena Hummer. After confirming they had it still at the price advertised, I drove down on the 27th to drive it, took it home that evening. Total impulse buy. Wife liked the bluish-Aqua color but thats not what they had so I ended up with this color....also set out to get the manual tranny, its really hard to find those!:) Also considered a Rubicon, and thats what I would have ended up with if not for this, but they have no room inside...

I looked at a 4 door Rubicon, but we needed more space and the Rubicon drove and rode like $#!+. After test driving the H3T the decision was very easy.

Hope to meet you on the Bishop trip.

Greetings from the South Bay! It will be great to have another desert monger here. I know there are some fun trails around the Indian Wells area. Maybe you can help us out with that. We also do regular runs up Last Chance Canyon, just next to Red Rock Canyon.

For the more hardcore guys, I suggest Isham or Stone canyons

Lived here all my life but fairly new to the 4x4 game. Have not been up Last Chance, but have been to Burro Schimdt Tunnel many times.
