Hissing Noise

Not sure if I asked this already, but does anyone else have a hissing or air noise coming from the passenger side dash? Like where the intake is? Whenever I"m anywhere from 15% throttle to 60% throttle, I can hear it get louder as the pedal is in more.. and vice versa. My uncle said it sounds like the Intake (it's an Airaid with the open top), but I'm just curious if anyone here thinks it could be something different. The exhaust manifold gaskets/bolts were just replaced last month, so it's not that.. Or should I not worry because it runs fine? Just wasn't sure if this is a Hummer thing.

See, that's what I was thinking.. but my uncle is a mechanic, and he said it doesn't sound like a vacuum leak at all. I might have to get out some ether and test

My AFE intake is pretty loud while under acceleration, I can hear the air being sucked into it, but its more of a light whistle than a hissing noise.

I'll have to record a video of it and post it. I have my entire dash out so it's really noticeable right now. I guess what I have could be described as a light whistle.. it just has a definite air like noise.

definitely sounds like the intake to me, your probably hearing it more than usual because of how mush of the dash has been removed.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's the intake. It def gets louder/quieter as the pedal goes in/out.. and I can't think of what else would be over there?
