The T-Bars can still be eliminated by using different LCA's, The rancho kit uses the stock ones. So if someone does come out with LCA's, UCA's and a shock mounting point I could go ditch the T-bars just as easy as a stock H3 all I would need is a longer shock then the t bar cranked H3's.

Forgive me if I am misunderstanding you here. You would need more than a longer shock. If you dump the T-bars you need a strut or coil spring suspension, which means you would have to make an upper mount for that off the frame. It could be done, but would not be a small project.

Now here is where I was probably misunderstood. I have seen the clearances of the oil pan and the diff but looked again last night and it is tighter then I remember. Is the only reason the drop cradle was spaced that far away from the frame because of the tight clearances? Could you have gotten away with making the drop cradle closer to the frame?

The reason for the drop cradle is to maintain the proper angles for the half shafts. If you left it higher up, or closer to the frame, you would get extreme angles on the CVs and tear them up.

Again, I may be misunderstanding your meaning here. It is, after all, very late! :whaa:

Scarsman I was meaning that the work would be comparable to a t bar h3 if someone came out with a kit like that because there has been talk about it in the future from some members here. It would still be work though but not any tougher then any other h3. The drop cradle is to keep cv's level but u can keep the everything level regardless of how big or small the drop cradle is. You just would have to do adjustments. The issue with the drop cradle though is fitting in a bigger axle. Will the drop cradle be big enough to fit in another axle

Today I'm going to re-create my build thread so we can discuss it there. Your questions are pretty technical.

I have all the tech drawings there and don't want to jack this thread anymore...:)

Sounds good, will tune into that later. Ahana sorry for the hijack. For the initial question. It all depends on driving style. There are guys who run huge tires and small axles and dont break anything and there are guys who run huge axles and smaller tires and manage to break stuff. Some people have some luck into it and sometimes its the intangibles. For example picking a good line that wouldnt break a halfshaft and you slip and end up on a badline and you can break something. So if you do it be careful.
