Well...I got bored...and it was a nice sunny day...so I played with some Plastidip. :)

I've got some "crumpled-up peel away" residue left around some of hard to reach edges (I hope that makes sense for those who've used this stuff). Anyone got a pro-tip for getting that junk outta there? I was thinking maybe a wooden toothpick would work? ...Just didn't have one handy.

I know they claim it comes off a.d everything looks the same underneath, but what does paint look like after being covered for an extended period of time?

I only ask because i am thinking of doing my fenders with it. Instead of having a permanent change like line-x

Not gonna do my KCs with anything like this or bedliner. They put out too much heat and I don't want to add a further layer of installation. I may paint them black at some time, but nothing more than that for me.

My hardtop came out OK. my badges came out great though! tape around them in a square patern and spray 4 coats on. the remaining residue on the paint came off easily. I used a toothpick to grabd into tight spots.

Awesome! I did my brothers JEEP emblem on the front...so far they have lasted through a mudbath and a powerwashing cleanup...

Yeah don't use this stuff on anything that gets too hot. Some guys have tried to do exhaust tips with it with horrifying results. And on the other end of the spectrum... I did the intake tube and TB with it in my 300 with no problems.

Did my front windshield trim pieces with this stuff, they look pretty good.

I took them off. Its really simple, peel bacl the weather stripping, undo two screws and pop or off. Be careful when popping off so as to not break th plastic clips
