I'm in for one as well of course if I qualify for one.

Sent From Someone Else's iPhone 'Cause I'm Too Broke To Own One.

Got you Torres, thanks!

Im in for one...

Perfect, added you!

You are on list now!

Add me to the list why not!

I'll take one with my screen name, LoJac963

Hopefully we get enough to kick the price down.

Thanks!

It's getting there man! You are in!

We have 9 plaques, need 11 more to get to next bracket and a few people in this thread that haven't replied :)

Then if an announcement is made somehow, it should easily get over 20

Not sure if info will be asked once purchases are finalized or not but I think I'll change mine to my actual name as opposed to my screen name:

Blaine Romero

Thanks again!

Count me out, these look way too cheesy to ever find their way onto my rig!!

I think as a club we need to determine one direction to head and then choose to go that way as a group.

Personally I like the idea (even at the extra cost) of going with a solid emblem

I am interested in hearing more input on this. what do you mean by "solid"? As far as the direction, do you mean the content of the text?

These are nice looking badges. Not sure how they will look on our grills.

^^ from the original thread that brought this idea up

To me this (but personalized to our forum) is something worth putting on out $20,000-$150,000 rigs.

These little rinky dink "plaques" look really cheap to me, when those things age or you buy a new hummer you wont be keeping it or transferring it to the new rig, you'll leave it on or toss it.

If we went with something more solid and robust similar to the one pictured above, you'd transfer it Hummer to Hummer or keep it as a keep sake to remind you of the good times..

Good input. To be honest, I like both. I actually like the personalized plaque because it formalizes that we as individuals belong to a group. I go to many cruise-ins in SoCal and see these on other vehicles. At the last SoCal M&G, I had to put my H4O business cards on the window to show my membership. This plaque is mainly to match a driver to the vehicle and to a club.

However, I see your point on the badge as well. It does have a different goal. Maybe we can still look at the badge like the one indicated by H3Slate. Heck, I would not have a problem with having both myself!

I prefer the more expensive ones but I think we have two distinct markets here, and many owners would be satisfied with the less expensive ones. I don't think it will hurt the forum image to have both available and on display.

I don't think RamRod's comments portray the general opinion in this thread. As AutoBadges mentioned the price of the emblems are upwards of 4x or more the cost of the plaques. You're comparing two completely different items but generalizing them as the same. I like the plaques and I also really like the emblems. However I'm not going to spend $100+ for an emblem when I'm a member of 4 different hummer forums as many members are. The emblems are made individually and look to be very high quality and if reflected in their price. I don't think a group buy for the emblems will be very successful. AutoBadges even mentioned because they are basically one offs they typically do not do group buys on the emblems.

What I wrote is my opinion, I get that and I don't really care who agrees or not.

Count me out for these plaques

RamRod, I didn't peg you as such a whiner. Don't you have anything more important to do than to pick on other people's efforts to try to cater to our small and limited market?

x2. Ramrod, you can ask autobadges if he would be willing to make the emblem. As stated previously, an emblem is usually not a group buy item and is more of a "one off' type item. Simply telling him you do not want to be included in the plaque group buy and that you want an emblem would of gotten your point across.

C'mon gentlemen. This is not the place for this. RamRod had valuable input with his statement. Granted, it was a tad snide, but that is okay. It was his opinion and when asked for him to explain, he did willingly.

I revisited the badge thread and like what is being discussed there. I actually want both now!
