Today i replace the brake pads and i notice that the rear differential is very hot i can't touch it,i touch the transfer case too and the temp is almost the same with rear differential , it s normal to be hot after i drive 40 km not off-road :) ? what is the normal temp for the rear diferential ? the transmision gauge is like 180 -190 fahrenheit.

Thank's

Everything gets hot after driving for a bit, and just because you can't touch it doesn't mean it's too hot. I think anything over 110F (43C) will give you a bad burn after not too long, or at least be uncomfortably hot. Best way to check is to go get a cheap infrared (non contact) thermometer and see what the temps are. The diffs and transfer-case don't have any extra cooling, just whatever is dissipated by their structures, so they will get pretty toasty. I doubt you have anything to worry about, but it never hurts to check.
